So Invermere turned out to be more than just a stop over--we decided to play the "We're From Out Of Town Card", and unlike the few times we've tried that in Calgary, it actually worked! So, the band and I spent the day busking all around town and then convened at a fantastic establishment called McToogals, where we played for free dinner and tips.
There was a birthday party going on (Happy Birthday again Alina), and so the crowd was excellent! It wouldn't be classy to say how much we made, but I will let you know that we've balanced the chequebook at this point--just don't tell anyone I said that!
